As you may be aware, for 2012 admissions, Year 12 students MUST register for the STAR Entry Scheme online. Online registrations close midnight Wednesday 24 August. After this date, late students may still submit a paper registration form. Once online registrations close SCU will post me a list of all students who have registered and an Assessment Sheet for each student on which the Principal or delegate should indicate each student's potential to succeed in their chosen course/s. So far only 1 Year 12 student has registered. You only have to before midnight Wednesday 24 August. SCU asked me to let you that that any ATAR ineligible students can also register for the STAR Entry Scheme, as this is the best chance for these students to be considered for an offer at Southern Cross University

The Centre for Continuing Education offers exam preparation courses in the following areas commencing the weekends 10 & 18 September: Biology, Business Studies, Chemistry, Economics, Englsh Advanced, Legal Studies, Mathematics 2 Unit, Physics. The first half of the workshop will deal with identifying the types of questions which commonly appear on the exam papers, looking at past papers and interpreting questions, planning responses/answers, and other helpful exam techniques. The presenter will offer extra tips on exam techniques which were not covered in earlier HSC Preparation courses. The second half will allow time for some past paper exam practice with valuable feedback and tips.
